blogging challengs 2 facebook 2222Do you know what a digital footprint is? It’s like a chain of your life that links you to all your activities online. It starts before you’re born and continues after you die. A digital footprint includes records of  what happens to you, where you go and what you do! This is all on the computer. It’s a digital footprint of your life.

I looked up my name in Google and was surprised to find out that my Facebook address came up.  Luckily I have it blocked, but people still know I have it. This prooves that a digital footprint is everywhere and anywhere you go it gets cached on computer servers all over the world. Not only have I regirstered for Facebook but I have bought things from e-Bay and the Apple store. For the Apple store I had to give them my address so that they could deliver my Ipod. This all gets saved but I have no idea where. As I get older my digital footprint will continue to grow.

Now nowing  my digital footprint I will be careful not to make it bigger and if I do make sure I stay safe.
